This policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, and lists exactly what is stored and when. If something is not listed here, this site does not do it.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work properly and can help the owner understand how the site is used.

One thing we count without asking

We keep a simple running tally of how many times each page is viewed, and how many people accept or decline the choice below. There is no cookie, nothing stored on your device, and no identifier, not even an anonymous one. Your visit is added to a number and no record of it is kept. It is never sent to Google or anyone else.

Before you choose

This website uses Google Ads to measure which of our adverts lead to enquiries. Before you answer, that tag loads with every Google storage permission switched off. It sets no cookie and reads no Google cookie. Google can still receive a basic signal that a page was viewed or that the phone number or enquiry form was used, with no cookie and no device identifier, which Google uses to estimate advert results. Like any website visit, those signals include your IP address and browser details. If you arrived from a Google advert, the advert click reference may be added to links within this site so that a later choice to accept can still be attributed.

Until you accept optional cookies, this website does not:

load Google Analytics
set any Google Analytics or Google Ads cookie
create any identifier on your device
record which pages you view in our own analytics
record taps on the phone number or email address in our own analytics
record that you started filling in the enquiry form

The page tally above is the one exception, and it involves no cookie and no identifier. Continuing to browse is not taken as agreement, and nothing is pre-ticked.

What is stored, and when

What is measured if you accept

pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site
click to call, that someone tapped the phone number. This does not tell us a call happened, only that the link was tapped.
click to email, that someone tapped the email address. The address tapped is never sent to Google.
that someone began filling in the enquiry form
that an enquiry was successfully sent

Your name, email address, telephone number and message are never sent to Google Analytics.

If you decline

Everything above stays off. The site works normally, the enquiry form works normally, and your enquiry is still received and answered, see the privacy policy. Because no identifier exists, we cannot tell where that enquiry came from, and it is recorded as unknown rather than guessed at.

Changing your mind

Withdrawing stops optional analytics, deletes the identifier from your device, and clears the Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies this site set. Analytics information already collected is kept for 14 months and then deleted.

Controlling cookies

You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
